Our acoustic door sets provide sound privacy in office, commercial and industrial environments. Our highly qualified engineers can advise on acoustic applications and assist with calculations for specifications.

Construction
The door leaf is constructed from 1.6mm sheet steel, filled with sound absorbing and damping materials, and has an overall thickness of 64mm. All doors are hung in an architectural steel split frame which has a bevelled floor threshold fitted with double compression seals.

Applications
Suitable for all types of structures even those built from stud partitioning (when adequately strengthened).

Acoustic Seals
Sides and head of door and frame have two sets of self-aligning magnetic seals.

Furniture (all models)
Hinges - Two heavy duty level-swing steel hinges. Hinges of an identical design have been cycle tested a minimum of 125,000 times, while supporting a door leaf weighing 159kg/350 lb.
Handles - Two anodised aluminium pull handles.
Window (Models 47-C and 47-D only) One twin-glazed aluminium framed STC 47 Noise-Lock window 150mm wide by 610mm high (clear view).
Lock (Models 47-C and 47-D only) One (1) ASSA 2788 upright mortice deadlock, cylinder included.
